Geometric Moments and Rational Lambert Values: Proofs and Further Results

Summary. The record proves the fixed-base Hankel asymptotic for Zudilin's normalised moments and the rational-base irrationality criterion log b/log a<0.4056830213840605…. The determinant proof separates geometric node configurations from positive weights; the irrationality proof instead specialises Zudilin's 2004 polynomial forms after cancellation. Coefficient moments, evaluated lattices and congruence conditions distinguish integer divisibility from nonzero remainder decay. A broader ratio-limit argument and a rational-value model remain unformalised. None of these arguments settles F(3/2).

This paper covers the sharp fixed-base Hankel asymptotic and rational-base irrationality proofs, coefficient moments and arithmetic obstructions, with ordinary ratio-limit and rational-value models distinguished from checked results.

It does not establish the validity of claims tagged Lean, which belongs to the cited kernel-checked source, or a solution to Erdős #1049, which remains open.

The range of subset sums.

The residue condition and the real-error condition can be counted together. Within each residue class, subdivide the range of subset remainders into intervals of width D/n; a bound on repeated remainder values then forces a nonzero small difference. Fix a positive integer n. For M integer rows (Aj,Bj) and a modulus D≥1, set ej=AjF(3/2)−Bj. For each attained residue vector b, let Tb be the difference between the largest and smallest remainders ∑jεjej with εj∈{0,1} and ∑jεj(Aj,Bj)≡b(modD). Let the integer kb bound the number of subsets attaining any one remainder value in that residue class. Then

2M>∑bkb(⌊nTbD⌋+1)

produces two subsets with equal residues and distinct remainders less than D/n apart. Within each residue fibre, subtract the least remainder, multiply by n/D, and take floors. These integer indices range from 0 to ⌊nTb/D⌋, including a separate final index when Tb is a positive integral multiple of D/n. Equal indices give a remainder difference strictly less than D/n. If each index corresponded to only one remainder value, it would account for at most kb subsets, contradicting the displayed inequality. Subtracting the two subset sums and dividing their coefficients by D gives an integer form with nonzero absolute value less than 1/n. The common width bound T=∑j|ej| and a common multiplicity bound k give the coarser count Qk(⌊nT/D⌋+1), where Q is the number of attained residue vectors. All rows must have the same normalisation. Primitive rows can still have repeated subset sums, and positivity need not survive subtraction.
